I have started work on my next remake, Helter Skelter which appeared on (almost) all the eight and sixteen-bit platforms I believe and was made by the same ingenious guys that created Pipe Mania, and E-Motion among others. If you haven’t heard of or seen the game then I recommend you search it out on an emulator for your classic machine of choice.
