I did a collection for flowers on the RetroRemakes forum, so that we could help send the big guy off in style and do something to show how much he meant to us all. I have been overwhealmed with the response. The final total as close as I can work it out is £280!
Neil has organised a wreath in the shape of a ZX Spectrum, and asked that the remaining money be divided between a charity donation, and helping to pay for the continued hosting of RetroRemakes. So…
£125.00 for the ace Spectrum wreath.
£77.50 for Diabetes Charity
£77.50 towards RetroRemakes.com hosting (over a month worth I think)
Everyone give yourselves a pat on the back, we done good.
If anyone else still wishes to donate, please contact Bob and he will give you details of how to put towards the hosting costs and keep his legacy alive, or put the money into Diabetes UK.
