Duck Dash

Yay! A new little remake is up, coded with my very own lazy hands.

Duck Dash is an egg-collect-em-up probably most suitable for children.

Goto the download section to have a look.

Only the Windows version is up so far, but if you want a Linux or MacOSX compile be sure to let me know and I will get it sorted.

Big thanks to STompy for ripping the graphics and getting me coding again – even though it’s a very small and simple game. :)

This is really odd, but fantastic, as I was the original author of Duck Dash back on the ST! I’m intrigued to know how you go about a remake like this, since the original was coded purely in 68000 assembler, from what I remember? I think I’ve even got the original source code somewhere!
If you’re interested, I might be able to dig out the source code for some of the other oldies that I wrote for magazine covers?

How do I get in touch with you John? I have tried sending you a PM on socoder but with no reply. :)

Email me, I would love to hear more. I did try to get in touch with you before releasing this, through the Kingfisher Software website but without any luck.

It’s good to know you are still out there, and ok with me doing this remake! Cheers. :)
